Get Currencies

Retrieve the list of currencies available on the platform, with their display metadata and precision. This is a public endpoint (no authentication required).

GET /api/v1/currencies

Response is a raw JSON array (not wrapped in a data envelope).

Field	Type	Description
id	long	Currency id. Not the same identifier as currencyChannelId.
name	string	Display name, e.g. Bitcoin.
symbol	string	Asset symbol, e.g. BTC. This is the value other endpoints expect.
type	string	Crypto or Fiat.
precision	integer	Number of decimal places used for this currency.
color	string	Brand colour hex for the asset, for use in client UIs.
images	array	Icon URLs. size is Medium (colour) or MediumMono (monochrome).
isEnabled	boolean	false when trading and transfers for the currency are currently suspended.
isAirdrop	boolean	true when the currency was distributed as an airdrop.

The list is environment-scoped: a currency is returned only when it is enabled for the environment serving the request, so staging and production can return different sets. Currencies still present with isEnabled: false exist but are suspended — filter on isEnabled rather than assuming every returned symbol is tradable.

The list is served from a server-side cache refreshed on an interval (60 seconds in production), so a newly listed currency can take up to a minute to appear. Cache the result on your side rather than calling it per request.
