Arcium is a decentralized confidential computing network that enables secure computation on data while preserving its privacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The platform uses the Solana blockchain as its underlying infrastructure for transaction settlement, node management, and payments. Arcium\u2019s privacy model is entirely data-centric, meaning that data remains fully confidential while it is being processed on the network. However, payments, transfers, and transaction records on the Solana blockchain remain transparent and publicly accessible, consistent with the nature of blockchain technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In traditional systems, data can be encrypted while it is stored or transmitted over the internet. However, once the data is processed, for example during analytics or computation, it must typically be decrypted, making it exposed. Arcium addresses this challenge by enabling data to remain confidential even while it is being processed. Often referred to as a “confidential supercomputer,” the project aims to provide secure infrastructure for industries that handle highly sensitive data, including artificial intelligence (AI), healthcare, and finance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
